• Step 2: Initial Login Check

Do not send mass text messages immediately after logging in. If a message pops up saying “Abnormal activity requires phone number verification ,” this is a normal security check by Google. Simply verify via SMS using your own domestic or international mobile number; your personal privacy will never be compromised.

• Step 3: Modify the time window for security information

  After successfully logging in, please do not change your password or security email immediately . It is recommended to use a stable US IP address and maintain that IP address for 2 to 3 days before changing your password. • Permanent Number Retention Guide (To Prevent Google from Reclaiming Your Number): Although Google Voice is free for life, Google will automatically reclaim your number if there is no active usage for three consecutive months. It is recommended that you proactively call a toll-free US customer service hotline (e.g., Apple +1 800-275-2273or Microsoft support +1 800-642-7676) using your GV number every two months. Hold the call for 5 to 10 seconds after connection and then hang up. Warning: Google’s new risk control system is extremely strict in reviewing SMS messages sent from virtual numbers. Frequent sending of such messages is highly likely to be flagged as spam and result in your number being suspended. • Number Push Instructions: If you wish to transfer this Google Voice number to your personal Gmail account, you must comply with Google’s latest risk control rules:

  1. After purchase, you must log in stably and use the device normally with your native email address for more than 3 months before the page will unlock and the Transfer button will be displayed.

  2. When performing a transfer, both the sender’s and receiver’s Google accounts must be under a U.S. native residential IP address or a clean node .
